Scholarships were given to 5 second year law students attending Chicago law schools.

The event was opened up with an invocation by Bishop A.B. Vines and a beautiful performance of “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing” by James Weldon Johnson. After an introduction by the Master of Ceremonies, Rev. Johnson, a dinner was served.
